Knowing the shortcomings of legacy 2D touch-based fingerprint images there cannot be any serious doubt that the future of Fingerprint Technology will be Touchless and 3D - the combination of these features being core competencies of TBS and absolutely unique in the market. This view is supported by the decision of the United States National Institute of Justice to award TBS with a grant of $3.6 million to further develop its pioneering technology.
